Who we are

Encanta Studio is a set of free tools from Encanta, the marketing studio at encanta.digital ("Encanta", "we"). We decide how the personal data described here is used. To ask about it, or to use your rights, contact us through encanta.digital/contact and mention privacy.

The short version

  • What you type, upload or design stays on your device unless you press a button that says it sends something.
  • We get your email only if you enter it to unlock a feature. We get your name and message only if you send us an enquiry.
  • Studio uses no cookies, tracking scripts or advertising trackers. It counts how often each tool is used, with nothing that identifies you.
  • Unlocking a tool doesn't sign you up to anything. We email you only to reply to an enquiry you sent.

What stays in your browser

Images, logos, briefs, drafts, brand kits, saved looks and campaign kits are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time. We never receive them. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

Share links, such as Visual Lab's, carry the settings and any headline inside the link itself. They never contain your image or logo. Anyone you send a link to can read what is in it.

Message check keeps your original, alternative, review notes and chosen copy in this browser. Moving copy from Website check or into a project brief puts that copy and its context in the link's fragment. It is not sent to our server, but anyone given the link can read it.

Enquiry response test keeps your tests, earlier attempts, timestamps and review decisions in this browser. It does not send enquiries or monitor your inbox. A shared snapshot carries the selected test's current routes and notes, while earlier attempts and other tests remain here. An explicit Website check handoff carries a dated summary in the link.

Vercel Web Analytics records visits to Studio pages. We remove query parameters and fragments from its page URLs, so copy, report links and handoff data are excluded.

What we receive, and why

When you…We receiveWhyKept for
Unlock a feature with your email Your email address, the tool and page, the time, and how you arrived To see who uses which tool and which links bring people in. This is our legitimate interest in understanding demand for our services. 12 months
Send an enquiry Your name, email, company or website if you add it, your message, the tool and page, and how you arrived To reply to you and, if you ask, to discuss working together: steps you have asked for before a possible contract. 24 months from our last contact, or longer under our client and accounting records if you become a client
Use any tool The tool's name and what happened: a result shown, an export, an unlock or an enquiry. Nothing else is stored: no web address, text, image, IP address or identifier. To see which tools are useful and where people stop, as daily totals. This is our legitimate interest in improving Studio. 13 months, as totals only
Run the website check The public page address, visitor goal, device, page type and whether loading measurements are requested. Your review context and notes stay in your browser unless you share them. To read that page and, when requested and connected, ask Google PageSpeed Insights for loading measurements. We don't store the address against you. Shared report links contain the report and reviewer notes; anyone with the link can read them. Successful public speed results may be cached for up to 30 minutes. Your draft stays in this browser until you clear its site data. Shared reports remain in the link itself.
Run the Business facts check The public page address and business type you ask us to check To fetch that page, the contact page it links to and the site's robots.txt. We don't store the address or anything read from the pages. Not retained on the server. Dated checks, corrections and decisions are saved in your browser until you clear its site data. Selected facts in a Context pack handoff stay in the URL fragment and browser workspace; anyone with that link can read them.
Use invite-only Particle generation Your written prompt and effect recipe, and a one-way hash of your IP address To generate the scene and enforce daily limits. Prompts are not logged, and the hash cannot be turned back into your address. Limit counters expire after about a day

"How you arrived" means the campaign tags in the link you followed, a ref tag from our own links, the referring site and the first Studio page you opened. It is kept in your browser tab and sent only with an unlock or an enquiry, never on its own.

Who handles it for us

These providers run parts of Studio and act only on our instructions:

  • Vercel hosts Studio and the functions that receive unlocks and enquiries.
  • Notion holds the database where unlocks and enquiries are recorded.
  • Our customer records system holds the queue of enquiries we answer, and a team alert tells the person who answers that one has arrived.
  • Google (PageSpeed Insights) receives the page address you ask us to check.
  • OpenRouter, and the AI model provider it routes to, receive Particle generation prompts, for invited users only.
  • Upstash stores the hashed daily limit counters and the anonymous usage totals.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data is processed outside the UK, we rely on the transfer safeguards in their data processing terms.

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How we follow up

  • Enquiries: a person at Encanta replies within 2 working days, using your email only for that conversation. If you don't reply to one follow-up, we stop.
  • Unlocks: we don't email you. We look at unlocks in aggregate to see which tools and links are useful.
  • If we ever offer updates by email, you'll be asked separately with a box that is not ticked, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it, or object to how we use it. Contact us through encanta.digital/contact and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
